Guests and Registered-members will receive an invitation to join when they try to access Contributing Member-only areas. Why the change? In February of 2010, we emailed every registered member of the Exchange asking them to voice their opinion in an online forum or by email. The OVERWHELMING majority of replies supported the idea of turning on the Contributing Member feature. In fact, it became an out-pouring of support and words of appreciation! And many people told us that enabling the online membership feature would make it easier for them to do what they had always intended to do... support the site. MOST of the free lesson content on our Exchange message board continues to be fully accessible to unregistered visitors and guest. But some of our finest resources and personalized help are only available to people who understand the importance of being part of this community in a special way.

If you have a screenname and log-in for Rotation.org, then you are already a Registered Member. All you need to do is log in when you click this link to become a Supporting Member: www.rotation.infopop.cc.eve/premium If you are not a Supporting Member and try to access a "Supporting Members Only" feature or webpage, you will be prompted to sign up to become a Supporting Member. You can click Cancel. When you access the SitePay screen to become a Supporting Member, odds are you have never used SitePay before and will need to create a username and password just for that process. You can use it again the following year when you renew your Rotation.org Supporting Membership. After much discussion with the Rotation community, Spring 2010 the Rotation.org Board took the NEXT STEP in its evolution and turned on the MEMBERSHIP feature in the Ideas and Lesson Exchange message board. These changes do not affect the "Main" part of rotation.org. They only affect access to content and features in the Exchange message board. Please note: MOST of the Lesson Exchange is still freely available to all who visit this site. There are now 3 levels of access to the Exchange.
Become a Supporting Member Now! The cost of becoming a
Supporting Member is $25
--payable with your creditcard when you sign up. If you are already a Registered Member, you will need to log-in and then complete the Supporting Member process. If you are a "guest" ...having never registered before, you'll need to do that first when you click the above link.
The Exchange software and sign-up process is managed by a Social Strata Inc, aka "Infopop" or "Groupee" ...the company that Rotation.org has been working with for the past ten years to bring you the Exchange message board. Their membership process and creditcard handling is completely secure. Rotation.org does not receive any financial information about you or your card. There is a $2 transaction fee paid to Social Strata/Sitepay for each membership. If you do not have a creditcard or prefer to send a check, send a check to our treasurer requesting a one year membership. Once received, we will switch your Registered Member status to Supporting Member.
NOTES:
And once again....the vast majority of rotation lessons and articles will continue to be freely available to all who visit our website. The "Main" part of Rotation.org will continue to be 100% free. (To see the difference between the two sites...see the graphic below)
