Submitted to Rotation.org:
Milwaukee, WI - Saturday, June 14, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.
You, your Sunday School coordinator and teachers are invited to this Rotation Sunday School Workshop!
Albright United Methodist Church, 5555 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53216
Are you considering rotation or are new to it?
We have great ideas to get you started! Have you been doing rotation
for a while? Hands-on workshops will help you
enhance your program!
The creative staff from Cornerstones Publishing will be at Albright to do a number of workshops. Choose 3 from the following 6 options:
a. Storytelling: I Can Do That!
- Experience the art of storytelling through first-person (Corrie ten Boom),
back-to-back dialogues (Sarah and Hagar) and group
participation
b. Bible Improv - Experience several fun improv games and see how they can be actively connected to a wide variety of Bible stories.
c. Talent Showcase - "Every conversation
becomes an invitation" Discover how to search your congregation for
the talent that can be used to pass the faith onto
the next generation.
d. Empowering Volunteers - Who are the people involved in rotation and how does their unique role enhance the program.
e. Generation to Generation - Get all generations involved in Sunday School. Plan special intergenerational events that will help to bridge the gaps.
f. Eat Your Way Through the Bible - There
is food used throughout the Bible to reinforce the stories. Use these
foods along with contemporary foods to enhance
understanding and retention of Bible stories.
Cost $15 per person if registration is postmarked
by 5/30. $25/person after 5/30. Click on the links below to
