Reply to "Photos of My Church's Computer Workshop"

My first lab was at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington near Chicago. In 1991, we started with two donated 386sx PCs and very little (good) software, but it was exciting. One of the things we learned in those days was the importance of being the "guide by the side" rather than standing around watching kids use the computers. Though the equipment and software have changed, that approach to teaching never has.

In the early 2000's, I set up a lab for my church in Hilliard Ohio.  We started with two PCs, and it was so popular two more were donated.
