Reply to "Deciding on a Theme for your Room & Hall Decorating"

Jeremy,

When we transformed our rooms we found it helpful to begin with determining first which workshops we would offer. While most of ours have a biblical theme, not all do, and both work for different purposes. If your team has not visited other churches doing rotation, then I highly recommend they do so. There is nothing more motivating than seeing a few places who have already done it and are excited about it. That alone might help to jump start your group. If there aren't others in your area, then maybe pulling some pictures off this site would be helpful. The main thing is to get started painting. When folks begin to see what emerges, excitement grows and ideas blossom everywhere. Jaymie is right - you are never done. There's always something more to paint, transform, or build. It's all part of the fun!
Blessings,
Cindy
