Pop-up Tents are an inexpensive way to create a stage area with a curtain inside or outside the classroom and Shadow Theater stages in a room where you can lower the lights. The tents can often be found on sale and you'll undoubtedly find other uses for them at the church!
Simple clamp lights can be fixed to the inside of the framing to provide light.
A single sheet is hung for a Shadow Theater setup.
