In the Peter Sinks, Jesus Saves lesson set from the Writing Team...

We did the Water Workshop's boat activity in a swimming pool. I made the paper boats and put sails on them for each child to use a straw to blow them across the water. they put 12 pennies in each of their boats and their name on the sail. Our Jesus boat was made of freezer paper and I put the name of Jesus on it and 13 pennies in it (one for Jesus). After their boats sank and our Jesus boat stayed afloat I explained about the protective coating on the boat and how Jesus protects us. It was an awesome activity for all of us. THANK YOU.
