Treasures of the Nile
Treasures of the Nile is a collection of fun PC activities and games with an Egyptian theme. Over the years, I've used it as a fun follow-up in our Exodus, Joseph and Three Wise Men rotations. It doesn't tell those stories (except for onscreen coloring pages of them), and the only educational content in it is the hieroglyphics memory verse games -- which are challenging if you don't have a copy of the KJV or NIV open in front of you. In addition to a couple of games, it has printable crafts and some Egyptian-themed snack recipes. It would make a fun addition after a lesson and fun for at-home use.

Originally published by Standard Publishing as a VBS add-on, a downloadable copy is available in the "vintage" section at Archive.org** at https://archive.org/details/tr...dard_publishing_2003. We tested it, and it runs quite well on Windows 8, 10, and 11 thanks to Microsoft's commitment to legacy programs.
Windows 7,8,10,11. Ages 5-12 depending on the activity.

(Onscreen coloring pages of Moses parting the Red Sea, Joseph’s reunion with his brothers, and Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus’ flight to Egypt are fun Bible story tie-in activities.)
(Surfing the pyramids game. There are several fun games to play.)
(Challenging memory verse games.)
**Archive.org has a special digital copyright exemption to store software that is no longer for sale and would otherwise require "vintage" hardware to run, such as a CD drive which few newer computers come with. The download is an"ISO" file -- image of the CD. Download the file and run the setup.exe file. When Windows gives you a caution, "run anyway”. Ignore the setup tab when the game opens, it will automatically fill your screen.
