Rotation.org is thrilled to host Heather DeWit's wonderful "Parenting Disciples" printable home Bible verse posters and discussion guides. Heather created this FREE two-part resource for her church and wanted to share them with her fellow Supporting Members here at Rotation.org. And we're glad she did! They are terrific, and they are another great reason to be a supporter of Rotation.org's unique ministry.
Supporting Members can download the Posters PDF and Guide PDFs now.

Here are a few screenshots of both the 12 posters and the guides. Click to enlarge.
While originally created for parents and families to use at home, the posters/verses themselves are quite suitable for use by adults of all ages and circumstances who are looking for at-home encouragement to live as disciples. (i.e. You don't have to have children to benefit from many of the posters and handouts.)
They would also make great discussion handouts for parenting classes.
This free downloadable resource has two parts:
1. Twelve Inspirational Verse Posters to post at home and discuss each month. (PDF)
2. Twelve Parenting Pages -one for each poster with discussion ideas, scriptures, and suggested activities. (PDF)
The 12 verse posters are NOT only for families. Although the guides do have family-specific language, they can be used by anybody seeking God's wisdom for daily living: Parents, Singles, Couples, Seniors, Empty-Nesters, Kids, Teen-agers; in kitchens, bedrooms, places of work, classrooms, church hallways, newsletters -- anywhere they will get noticed.
Printing Tip
You will probably want to print these color PDFs in advance and distribute them as packets. You could just share the poster and guide PDFs electronically, but printing them ahead of time will make them more likely to get used. It will also help people who don't have a printer at home (or enough color ink to print the packets). Ask for a donation to defray printing costs.
Each poster is 8 1/2 by 11 and can be enlarged.
Ways To Use the Posters
At Home: Place each month's verse poster in a visible place at home and call attention to it throughout the month (such as at dinner time). Read the poster's corresponding "parent note" from the second packet and follow-through with its suggestions and activities.
As an "All Church" project:
Distribute the packets to those who want to take them home, and then send reminders each month for them to display the next inspiration verse poster and discuss it within their family.
Reference the project and materials each month in your church newsletter and church website and/or Facebook page each month.
Display a large print of each poster in a prominent Sunday morning location and provide additional packets for those coming late to the project.
Use the handouts for a Parenting Class and distribute the posters in the class for home use.
Use posters/handouts as devotionals in your children fellowship.
Ask the pastor to preach on each month's poster verse and notes.
Use with a Calendar: If you use a traditional printed calendar, tape each poster over the photo that typically illustrates each month. As a Display Project at Church: Print one poster a month in large format and offer copies of the printed parents' guide.
The age range is ages 1 to 100. The verses on the posters are from The Message and NIV Bible translations. If you have very young children, explain or simplify the language found in the verse.
You can use as many or as few of the posters as you like.
We love the following excerpt from "Month 2's" guide for parents...
It gives you an idea of the quality and tone of writing...
What a great reminder and discussion starter
