This book (available from a variety of sources) has pictures and instructions/recipes for creating 18 edible Bible story "pictures" with food. The recipes do not included lessons or discussion questions, but do include detailed information for creating a picture snack of a Bible story.

The pictures look like fun ways to talk about and remember the details of a story! This book may be better suited for a storytelling workshop or a food workshop than for cooking: the children can decorate the cake or crispy rice treat or other base as they talk about what happened in the story.

Rotation.org is a curated archive of creative Sunday School lesson plans, ideas, and resources contributed and improved by our members, volunteers, and staff. You are invited to share what you can and glean what you need. A free registration gives you access to additional content, features, and permission to post. Founded in 1997, we are non-profit, non-denominational, volunteer-led, and member-supported.

How Our Content is Organized
Our lesson forums are organized by Bible story and then by teaching medium such as video, art, cooking, and drama, etc. (what Rotation Modelers call "workshops"). Because the Rotation Modelers who created and lead this site teach major Bible stories for four or five weeks in a row, some minor story forums may have less content. Traditional Sunday Schools can easily adapt "Workshop Rotation" style lessons.

Rotation.org's history, content, membership, and leadership reflect the broad theological middle and mainline tradition.
