Creative teaching methods and materials help students learn, want to return, and retain what we taught them. That's why Rotation.org's Bible Story Forums are organized by art, cooking, games, drama, video, music, movement, and special teaching resources like software/apps.
Regarding "Screentime" and Bible Apps for Kids
Today's concern about "children's screen time" isn't just about quantity, it's also about QUALITY. There is a difference between the frivolous and senseless videos and apps many kids mindlessly play, and apps and videos that teach God's story or are otherwise educational.
Here are three very good Bible apps for younger and older children you can confidently recommend to teachers and parents. They are ecumenical, free, have no in-app purchases, and no advertising. They remember where kids have left off and award participation. They can be used in class on tablets --including one tablet connected to a larger screen; and all three are great at-home resources, too. Available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Look for them in your device's "app store."
- Superbook Bible App for Kids
