Ministering to Neurodiverse Kids in Church

View the seminar video recording and links to resources mentioned in it

Last month, over sixty members of the Rotation.org community joined Dena Kitchens, our "special needs" expert, to discuss ways to welcome and engage "neurodiverse" children and youth in church -- including kids with mental, emotional, and intellectual challenges. In the presentation, Dena describes the many facets of neurodivergence and shared many classroom strategies for effectively engaging with and teaching these challenging gifts of God. The recording includes 20 minutes of lively group discussion.

The seminar recording is now part of our new and expanding forum, "Ministering to NeuroDiverse and Special Needs Kids." It features more discussion, related topics, suggestions, and resource links about welcoming, engaging, and teaching "neurodiverse" and "special needs" children and youth in the church. You are invited to post your questions, suggestions, resources, and experiences.
